He was born in Guffie, Pa. He was married with children and grandchildren and had been a Peninsula resident for over 30 years, and was most recently a resident of Lexington, S.C. He was retired from the Ohio Turnpike Commission and Jaite Paper Mill. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of the Akron Tadmor Temple and veteran of the U.S. Army. (ABJ obit 1990)
