Elek was born in Lynchburg, Va., and had lived in the Bath area for 68 years with his wife, one daughter and 2 grandchildren. He was a 58-year member of the Bath Grange, was a 32nd Degree York Rite Mason and a Knight of the York Cross of Honor (June 29, 1957). He retired from the B.F.
