Clarence was born in Akron, had lived most of his life in Richfield, and was a retired supervisor from Preston Motor Freight. He was married 51 years and had one son and four daughters, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was a 32nd degree Mason, Past Master 3 times of Meridian Sun Lodge No. 69 F&AM, past patron of Ellsworth Chapter No. 247, and had also served on the DeMolay Board for 30 years.    (ABJ obit 1990)
